FAQs

How do I purchase online?

Purchasing from The Plant Hub is an easy process. Please browse our range of products which are grouped by categories; an example being Grasses. Browse the range and select and add to your shopping cart. Another way is to use the search function above the menu bar on the left-hand side of the page; type in the name of a product and hit search, and if it is a product we sell, you can go to that page and add it to your shopping cart. When you have found your items of interest, add them to your shopping cart and when you have finished shopping simply click the Checkout button. From there, you will be guided through the checkout process and asked to provide your desired delivery address and payment details.

Where do you deliver to?

The Plant Hub Delivery Area:- At this point, we only ship plants to NSW, ACT, Victoria, and Queensland, as quarantine is an important issue with the movement of plants across state borders. In the future, we hope to be able to ship plants to all states in Australia. Due to quarantine restrictions, we cannot ship plants outside of Australia.

How are plants shipped?

This is an excellent question. The Plant Hub uses couriers and Australia Post to ship orders. When your plants are dispatched, we will send you an email to let you know how they have been shipped, and you will also receive a ‘Track and Trace’ label number and a link to the relevant delivery website to track the progress of your delivery.

How soon after ordering will I receive my order?

As we deliver 'live plants', we naturally want to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. We only dispatch orders on Monday of each week (except public holidays) to ensure orders arrive that same week. The cut-off time for orders is 6 pm Sunday. Orders placed after this time will, in most cases, be shipped the following week.

Plants normally arrive during business hours within 2 to 3 days for metropolitan areas. In regional areas, it may take an extra day or so to arrive. If you have ordered plants and have been notified that your order has been dispatched, but has not arrived by Thursday afternoon, don't hesitate to contact our office to track down your order for you.

I have a PO Box - is that a problem?

No, if you would like your order to go to a PO Box, we send your order to Australia Post; however, we ask that you pick up your plants the day they arrive at the Post Office, so you receive your plants in the best condition possible.

What if I'm not happy when I receive my delivery?

The Plant Hub is committed to supplying quality plants and products. However, if you are dissatisfied with your plants upon opening the box, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photos of your stock to receive replacement plants or a full refund.

What if an item is out of stock?

The Plant Hub grows a range of plants in-house and also buys in plants from other wholesale growers, very much like the way most retail nurseries operate. Naturally, we always aim to have plants available. At times however we do run out of stock due to higher than excepted demand. We can also experience seasonal delays out of our control and can affect when plants are available. If you find that an item is currently out of stock, you can click the "Remind me when it's back in stock" button to register your interest or send us through an email at shop@theplanthub.com.au . When it is back in stock, we will email you to let you know that it is again available.
