How do I purchase online?

Purchasing from The Plant Hub is an easy process. Simply browse our product range which are defined by categories i.e. Grasses. Pond & Water Plants etc. Browse our range and select and add to your shopping cart. If you are searching for a specific plant you can use the search function located above the menu bar on the left hand side of the page; simply type in the name of a product and click search. When you have found your items of interest you can add them to your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping simply click the 'Checkout' or symbol in the top left hand corner of the page, from there you will be guided through the checkout process and asked to provide your desired delivery address and prefered payment method.

Free Delivery Policy

When you shop at The Plant Hub you have the option to get free delivery when you fill your first box of plants, how does this work?

How does free delivery on full boxes of plants work?

As you add plants to your shopping cart our system will automatically calculate what space is remaining in the box and will assist you with recommendations to help you achieve free delivery. But don't worry, if you only require one or two items you can enjoy a flat rate shipping of $14.95.

How many plants does it take to fill a box?

A full box may contain any one of the following combinations of Pots, Tube 10 Packs or Lawn Plugs

12 X Pots, or

4 X Tube 10 Packs, or

4 X Lawn Plugs.

An example of a mixed combination of products to fill a box could be,

9 X Pots and/or either 1 X Tube 10 Pack or 1 X Lawn Plug tray,

6 X Pots and/or 2 X Tube 10 Packs or 2 X Lawn Plug trays,

3 X Pots and/or 3 X Tube 10 Packs or 3 X Lawn Plug trays.

Naturally there are other combinations of the above that combine to fill a box, as you add items to your cart our system will works out what space is left and will let you know when you have a full box.

What if I want more than one box?

Here is where we have great news, once you fill one box everything else on your order will be delivered free no matter how many or few additional plants or products you order, with the exception of bulky Items such as tree guards, (see bulky items notes below).

Delivery for bulky items such as tree guards and some hand tools will be the flat rate of $14.95.

Where do you deliver to?

The Plant Hub delivers to all parts of N.S.W., A.C.T., Victoria and Queensland. We cannot at this point in time deliver to South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory or Western Australia as these states have strict quarantine control on the movement of live plants into those states.

How are plants shipped?

This is a very good question. Live plants require express freight, unlike other products which may take a week or so to be delivered using non-express freight services. The Plant Hub use Fastway Couriers and Australia Post to ship your order. Our first preference will always be Fastway Couriers whenever possible but as Fastway don’t deliver to all regional areas we will need to ship your order with Australia Post. When your plants are dispatched you will recieve an email to let you know how they have been shipped, you will also receive a ‘Track and Trace’ label number and a link to the relevant website so you can track the progress of your delivery.

How soon after ordering will I receive my order?

If you have ordered live plants we naturally want to ensure that they arrive to you in the best possible condition. All live plant orders will be dispatched on a Monday and Tuesday to most locations and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to selected metropolitan areas in NSW and SE Queensland, (except public holidays). Plants normally arrive during business hours within 2 to 3 days for metropolitan areas. Deliveries to regional areas may take an extra day or so to arrive. If you have ordered plants and have been notified that your order has been dispatch, but it has not arrived by Thursday afternoon please contact our office immediately so we can track down your order for you.

I have a PO Box - is that a problem?

As our preferred method of delivery is with Fastway Couriers a street address is essential for this method of delivery. If you would like your order to go to a PO Box we will happily send your order with Australia Post; we do however ask that you pick-up your plants the day they arrive at the Post Office so you receive your plants in the best condition possible.

What if I'm not happy when I receive my delivery?

The Plant Hub is committed to supplying quality plants and products and we stand behind our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If at the time of delivery you are dissatisfied with your plants in any way we will either replace them, refund the purchase price or if you like we can give you a credit towards another purchase of your choice from our website.

What if an item is out of stock?

The Plant Hub grows all of our plants in our own production nursery. We aim to always have plants available in all sizes. At times however we do run out of stock due to higher then excepted demand or at times there are seasonal issues out of our control which affect when plants will be ready for sale. If you find that an item is currently out of stock you can click the ‘Remind me when it's back in stock' link; there you can record your name and the approximate quantity you may like to order, the when we replenish the stock you will receive an email to let you know it is available again.

Gardeners Plant Hub is committed to providing customers with high quality and reliable products. This commitment includes protecting your privacy. We respect and uphold your rights to privacy protection under the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Personal Information held by Gardeners Plant Hub may include your name, address, email address, telephone number. We use your personal information to deliver our products to you and/or to inform you of new products and offers. If you choose not to provide personal information we may not be able to provide you with the high level of services you require. When your personal information is no longer required we will destroy it or de-identify it in a secure manner.

We collect your personal information when you provide that by phone, email or in documents via our website. Bluedale Plants Online will only disclose personal information about you:

• In accordance with the law;
• as authorised by you in our contract with you; and/or
• With your direct consent.

As our website provides links to other sites, these sites may have different privacy policies to those of Bluedale Plants Online. We cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third party websites.

Data Security

Safeguarding your personal information is important to us and we have taken all reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. This is especially important when you are performing on-line transactions. Although we have implemented security measures in relation to your personal information, as the internet is inherently insecure, The Plant Hub cannot provide any absolute assurance regarding the security of any online transaction.

How secure are your payment details?

The Plant Hub utilise the reputable, third party payment company PayPal for all our online payment processing. We do not collect or store any of your financial information. PayPal is one of the most trusted ways in Australia to pay for your online purchases. We also offer you the option to pay by direct deposit (EFT) through your internet banking or you can send a personal or bank cheque. As you checkout you can choose which option will suit you. If you are still unsure, simply make an email enquiry through this site or call our office and we can help with a payment method that you are comfortable with.
