How do I purchase online?

Purchasing from The Plant Hub is an easy process. Simply browse our range of products which are grouped by categories; an example being Grasses, browse the range and select and add to your shopping cart. Another way is to use the search function located above the menu bar on the left-hand side of the page; simply type in the name of a product and hit search and if it is a product we sell you can simply go to that page and add to your shopping cart. When you have found your items of interest, add them to your shopping cart and when you have finished shopping simply click the Checkout button. From there you will be guided through the checkout process and asked to provide your desired delivery address and payment details.

Free Delivery Policy

When you shop with The Plant Hub you will receive free delivery with every full box of plants.

How does this work?

As you add plants to your shopping cart our system will automatically calculate what space is remaining in the box and will assist you with recommendations to help you achieve free delivery. But don't worry, if you only require one or two items and can't fill your box you can get flat rate shipping.

How many plants does it take to fill a box?

A full box contains 4 items, examples of these are; 4 X Tube 10 Packs, or 4 X Lawn Plug trays, or a combination of Tube 10 Packs and Lawn Plugs totalling 4 items.

Where do you deliver to?

The Plant Hub Delivery Area:- At this point in time, we only ship plants to N.S.W., A.C.T., Victoria and Queensland, as quarantine is an important issue with the movement of plants across state borders. In the future, we hope to be able to ship plants to all states in Australia. Due to quarantine restrictions, we cannot ship plants outside of Australia.

How are plants shipped?

This is a very good question. Live plants require express freight, unlike other products which may take a week or so to be delivered using non-express freight services. The Plant Hub use Fastway Couriers and Australia Post to ship your order. Our first preference will always be Fastway Couriers whenever possible, unfortunately, Fastway doesn’t always deliver to regional areas, in which case we will ship your plants with Australia Post. When your plants are dispatched we will send you an email to let you know how they have been shipped, you will also receive a ‘Track and Trace’ label number and a link to the relevant website so you can track the progress of your delivery.

How soon after ordering will I receive my order?

As we are delivering 'live plants' we naturally want to ensure that they arrive in the best possible condition. We only dispatch orders on Monday and Tuesday, (except public holidays), of each week to ensure they arrive the same week. The cut-off time for orders is 7 pm Monday evening. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following week.

Plants normally arrive during business hours within 2 to 3 days for metropolitan areas, in regional areas it may take an extra day or so to arrive. If you have ordered plants and have been notified that your order has been dispatch, but it has not arrived by Thursday afternoon please contact our office so we can track down your order for you.

I have a PO Box - is that a problem?

No, if you would like your order to go to a PO Box we send your order with Australia Post; we do however ask that you pick-up your plants the day they arrive at the Post Office so you receive your plants in the best condition possible.

What if I'm not happy when I receive my delivery?

The Plant Hub is committed to supplying quality plants and products. However, if you are dissatisfied in any way, simply return your purchase and we will either replace the plants or refund your money, no questions asked.

What if an item is out of stock?

The Plant Hub grows a range of plants in-house and also buys in plants from other wholesale growers, very much like to way most retail nurseries operate. Naturally we always aim to have plants available in the Lawn Plugs and Tube 10 pack, at times however we do run out of stock due to higher than excepted demand. We also can experience seasonal delays which are out of our control that can affect when plants will be available. If you find that an item is currently out of stock you can click the ‘Remind me when it's back in stock' button to register your interest. When it is back in stock we will email you to let you know that it is again available.
