Lavender ‘Avonview’

Lavender ‘Avonview’ is a compact, evergreen shrub growing to 80 cm tall by 60 cm wide. It has grey scented foliage which makes a good contrast against other plants. Avonview flowers over the warmer months of spring, summer and autumn with violet / blue flowers that are held above the foliage. Avonview is best grown in full sun and is a tough drought hardy plant and is suited to coastal climates.

Lavandula stoechas ‘Avonview’

Lavandula stoechas ‘Avonview’ is a hybrid variety of Lavender from the Mediterranean region of Europe. This improved variety has less weediness than the common form of the plant. Avonview prefers a full sun to part shade position and is ideal for the hot, dry climates and is suited to humid coastal as well as dry inland regions. They can be used to create either an informal or a formal clipped hedge.
