Growing approximately 2–4 metres high and 1–3 metres wide, its naturally dense habit makes it an excellent choice for a distinctive hedge, small privacy screen or statement plant. Brilliant red flowers appear in spring, creating a spectacular contrast against the cool-toned foliage. Velvet Sky™ tolerates most well-drained soils, coastal salt spray and moderate drought once established. Plant in full sun or light shade, with light shade and good care producing the richest blue foliage and most vibrant inky stems.
