Ficinea nodosa |
Ficinea nodosa was formally known as Isolepis nodosa and is commonly called 'Knobby Club Rush' - after it`s knobby looking seed head. It makes a great contrast plant for other foliage grasses. Although native to the coastal zone, it can be used in protected inland climates where it can cope with light frost. It may yellow a little in cold inland winters but will green up again in spring.
