Ficinea nodosa

Ficinea nodosa was formally known as Isolepis nodosa and is commonly called 'Knobby Club Rush' - after its knobby looking seed head. It makes a great contrast plant for other foliage grasses. Although native to the coastal zone, it grows well in protected inland climates and it can cope with light frost. It may yellow a little in cold inland winters but will green up again in spring.
