How to grow Grande Red™ Crepe Myrtle
Choose a sunny position with enough room for the plant to develop its natural shape.
Water regularly during establishment, particularly throughout the first 13 weeks and during hot or dry weather. Check the soil before watering rather than relying on a fixed schedule.
Apply mulch around the root zone to help retain moisture, keeping it clear of the trunk.
Prune as required to maintain your preferred shape and apply a suitable slow-release fertiliser in early spring according to the manufacturer's directions.
What will you receive?
Your Grande Red™ will arrive as a healthy young plant in a 50mm nursery tube, ready to establish in your garden.
You're purchasing young tubestock, not a mature flowering tree. The photographs show the variety's characteristics as it develops, and flowering and growth will depend on age, climate and growing conditions.
Ready to bring some serious summer colour into your garden?
Add Grande Red™ to your garden and enjoy watching it grow.
